What is Rock Steady Boxing?
Rock Steady Boxing transforms lives and defies the odds of Parkinson’s disease! Through our evidence-based exercise curriculum, this program is systematically designed to address symptoms providing neuroprotective benefits to turn slowing down the progression of the disease. Our workouts incorporate a range of exercises aimed at enhancing participants’ overall strength, posture, stability, mobility, flexibility, voice strength, and cognitive skills.
Our workouts consist of high-quality exercises that challenge the participants and bring camaraderie to the team of fighters. Our trained coaches and staff are prepared to modify any exercise to ensure that each participant achieves success and feels empowered.
Additionally, our program includes Fall Education, which teaches participants how to fall safely to prevent serious injuries. We also provide guidance to family members on how to assist their loved ones in standing up from the ground, thereby minimizing the risk of injury to themselves.
Ultimately, our focus is to enhance our participants’ quality of life and extend their longevity. Our program enables participants to remain ACTIVE, allowing them to engage in both necessary activities and those that are passionate about.

Meet Our Coaches

Dr. Carly Wilson, DPT, PT
Dr. Carly Wilson, DPT, PT, established RSB Conroe in 2019, driven by her deep commitment to assisting individuals and her enthusiasm for fitness. She earned her degree from Texas Woman’s University Physical Therapy School in 2021. Dr. Wilson and her family relocated to the North Texas area in 2024, during which time she has been working remotely for the club. Over the past five years, she has developed a strong dedication to educating and working with the RSB community in Conroe. In her leisure time, she enjoys engaging in outdoor activities with her family and returning to Conroe to coach classes whenever her schedule permits.

What to Expect in Class
- 75min workout
- Classes led by certified RSB Coaches
- No experience needed to participate
- Fighters are assigned to an appropriate class based on their level of ability, but still challenges them. This is deteremined by the coach after the required assessment is completed
- Age Range: 40y-80y(+)
- Non-contact boxing exercises: free standing bags, speed bag, heavy bag, double end bag, focus mitts with coach
- Non-boxing exercises that challenge your balance, coordination, mobility, strength/endurance etc in different planes of motion and in different positions
